GCW Recipes for opening a Talky video session and inviting a friend to participate:

These examples use Talky.io to conduct a video call. You can use a simple URL to start a Talky session by simply adding a name like my_unique_talky_session to the end of the talky home URL. Talky's  pages have ads that will steal your clicks and send you to a download page that you should avoid. Use an ad blocker to remove these deceptive ads with their invisible borders that overlay the Talky "Join" button, for example - very tricky. Once the ad blocker clears the way, you should be able to tweak the macros below and get them to work for you.
Each new line in the macro description describes a new command or send string indicated by the pipe character in the macro.

A Simple opening of a Talky session (video call):

This scheme presumes an earlier visit where a facilitator set the permission to allow the web cam and microphone to be used whenever visiting the talky site. The position of the Join button depends on your screen resolution and the browser being maximized. (Use #{up} to do so [Win-Up Arrow] if necessary)

  1. Use an ad blocker to avoid click stealing by ads appearing in the Talky website.
  2. Use this macro to open a talky session: {R}https://talky.io/jamjolu_gcw|{sleep}3500|{click 1342,1025}
  3. Open the talky.io URL that has a unique talk session name (/jamjolu_gcw) appended,
  4. Followed by a 3.5 second delay,
  5. Followed by clicking the “Join” button which will open the video call window.

Open the Talky session, and then email a potential Talky participant the Talky link:

Where the unique talky session in this case is "jamjolu_gcw "- yours should be different - then send an email to somebody@gmail.com - your recipient will be different. Note that the delays may need adjusting to match the performance of your equipment, and the click targets may need adjusting to match your screen resolution.
